| ArtifactsWhen I wander with the camera, I don't deliberately go searching for stair railings, blinds, bathrooms, chain link, or any of the other "subjects" presented here. Somehow these things persist in attracting my eye, so I simply respond to that attraction. I can't help thinking that these "artifacts" are the things that future archeologists will ponder in trying to understand our time. |

PanoramicPhotographs taken with a Noblex rotating lens panoramic camera. For me, panoramic photography is not about a long skinny format, nor is it about "wide angle" photography. It's about seeing around corners, bending space and perspective, and, pertinent to both of those, it's about a different set of physical laws than exist in "conventional photography": an infinite number of "vanishing points" along the long axis of the photograph.
